Monuments and places of interest in Villanueva de la Concepción
- Church of Nuestra Señora del Inmaculada Concepción: The temple was built in the late 19th century with a simple facade with a small bell tower. The church, made up of a single nave, is presided over by the image of the Virgin of the Conception located in a small niche, flanked on both sides by a Dolorosa dress and a carved Nazarene.
- Horcajo Bridge: Located at Km 34 of the A-7075 road. The bridge was built in the 18th century in 1787 during the reign of Carlos III, it belonged to the old <Vía Real>, road that communicated Malaga and Madrid. The Campanillas river passes under the bridge. The bridge was built with large reddish and gray stone blocks extracted from El Torcal. This point of interest serves as a viewpoint to take beautiful photos of Villanueva de la Concepción with El Torcal in the background.

- Plaza de Andalucía: The main square of the town, a rectangular shaped square with orange trees with an octagonal red granite fountain in the middle. It is the meeting place and main point during the town festivals.

It is a natural area with one of the most impressive karst landscapes in Europe that has been formed during a process of hundreds of millions of years when this area was submerged under the Tethys Sea. This natural monument is unique in the world. There is a Visitor Center with parking.
