BIOPARC FUENGIROLA
The Fuengirola Zoo has been a benchmark in Europe for many years. Its name as a Zoo changed in 2010 to Bioparc because it cannot be classified as an ordinary animal park. ROMAN SITE FINCA DEL SECRETARIO
Fuengirola was of great importance during Roman times, as evidenced by the Secretary’s Estate. A Roman site in Fuengirola that has remains of a Roman villa, an old salting factory, a pottery workshop and some Roman baths. Thanks to the Interpretation Center of the Secretary’s Estate you can see a recreation of the Roman Estate.
TOURIST TRAIN
Taking a ride on the tourist train is a quick and original way to get to know the city. A day pass can be purchased at the ticket office located on the seafront in front of the Hotel El Puerto. The train runs through the city and passes by almost all the monuments of the city. The train ticket has the Hop-On and Hop-Off modality, which means that you can get on and off as many times as you want.
SOHAIL CASTLE
The Sohail castle located in the municipality of Fuengirola on a promontory next to the coastline. In its surroundings there are Phoenician, Punic and Roman remains. The fortress, which originally dates back to the 10th century, has undergone numerous modifications to this day. FUENGIROLA RIVER PARK
Next to the Castle of Fuengirola. The Fuengirola river offers at its mouth and its banks green areas full of leisure activities for playing sports: ping-pong tables, bike lanes, basketball hoops. If you like aquatic leisure in times of good weather you can rent pedal boats. A place where the charm of the river, the sea and the Sohail Castle come together.
MIRAMAR SHOPPING CENTER
Located on the outskirts of the city. The shopping center is a great reference in the area for shopping. It has more than 200 shops of all kinds: gifts, fashion, sports, toys, jewelry, accessories, shoe stores, etc. It has a dozen restaurants. On the top floor there is a cinema and an open-air go-kart.
PORT OF FUENGIROLA
In the center of the city’s coastline is the Fuengirola Marina. A charming little port with around 200 boats of all kinds. In the port several companies offer boat trips, jet ski rental, parasailing, ferry service to Benalmádena, boat for dolphin watching activity. It has dozens of restaurants and bars of all kinds. During the weekend in several bars live concerts are held. During the summer in the main square several events are held.
FISH ALLEY
It is located on Moncayo and De la Cruz streets, popularly known as “La Calle del Hambre” or by foreigners as “Fish Alley”. These streets are located in the old part of the city where around 60 businesses of all kinds coexist, some of which are more than 50 years old. Do not forget to take a walk through these streets to see the great offer of restaurants that Fuengirola offers.
PLAZA DE LA CONSTITUCIÓN
Located in the old town. It is the main square of the City where the Church of Nuestra Señora del Rosario is located. It was the first square named as Plaza de la Constitución in the year 1841. This square has witnessed many events and the evolution of the Fuengiroleños. The great witness of this square is the centenary ficus that watches over the square, also known as the “tree of pellets”. In the square, the town hall holds hundreds of events during the year, and at Christmas the Christmas Market is set up in the square.
THE BEACHES OF FUENGIROLA
Fuengirola has 8 kilometers of coastline that are divided into 7 beaches. Each beach in the city has the distinctive “Q” for Spanish Tourist Quality (ICTE) and Blue Flags on all beaches for the high quality of maintenance of its facilities and coastal waters. SALON VARIETES THEATRE
Located in Calle Emancipación. One of the oldest buildings in Fuengirola. It was built in 1925. It was used as a theater until 1956, then it served as a cinema. But it was in 1985 when it became the current Salón Varietés, it is the only English-speaking theater on the Costa del Sol. BOAT FERRY FUENGIROLA-BENALMADENA

FUENGIROLA SKATE PARK
The Skatepark Fuengirola de Málaga is divided into several zones. There are three bowls of different sizes and heights, a flat area with drawers, an area with quarters, a funbox, pyramids, beautiful stairs with a railing and a downward drawer, Eurogaps and ramps. KARTING FUENGIROLA
Located on the terrace of the Miramar Shopping Center. Karting Fuengirola has two circuits, one for adults almost 500 meters long and another for children 200 meters long. INTERNATIONAL FAIR OF COUNTRIES
One of the fairs with the most visits in Andalusia. It is celebrated around May 1 at the Fuengirola fairgrounds. It is an international fair where 32 countries represent the best of each country in terms of folklore, tradition and food. At this fair you can have a Belgian waffle, a Peruvian chevice, a Romanian wine and dance the samba in the in Brazil. It is a fair for all ages.
