  • Tower Alminar of the Church of la Encarnación: It is a minaret that remains of an old Almohad mosque built in the 14th century. Currently it is the bell tower of the church of Our Lady of the Incarnation. The tower height measures around 15 meters and was declared a Historic Artistic Monument of National Heritage on April 20, 1979, being an important reference of Almohad culture in Malaga. There is a legend that says that during the casting of the metal of the tower’s bell tower, a lizard fell into it, remaining forever engraved in the metal.
